It's that time of the year again! No, not my birthday, but journal writing time!
I'm a premium member again! Because I can! Ok, it's actually because I got a job, and it was about time, too.
I'm sorry I've been kind of absent lately, I'm busy but I'll get to checking my watch and commenting. Also, I have at the moment 4064 deviations to check (seriously!) so sorry if it takes me a while. I always always read every comment even if it takes me forever to reply. Derp.
Why am I so busy, you ask, as you adjust your fancy monocle? Well, got me a job at a videogame studio! We're developing a game, kinda like Pokemon, called Micromon. It's lots of fun, and a fresh challenge (I help her desing the NPCs and some creatures and backgrounds) and I almost never get whipped!
I'm also still going to college, sloooooowly... and drawing my webcomic, Charon Tura! El cual puedes leer acá si hablas español: charontura.subcultura.es/tira/… If you didn't catch that, I'm working in the english version, which I hope is ready soon.

Bueno, mis dibujos no están para colorear, ni gratis ni sin mi permiso. No me molesta tanto porque al menos no están vendiéndolos y ganando dinero con mis dibujos, pero tampoco pueden postearlos así no más, así que también les avisé a algunas personas cuyos trabajos vi colgados ahí.

And now, something completely different. I'm taking summer classes with hpemouyevoli which have left us both with much less time for drawing... One of the courses is of Human Anatomy I, much of the stuff I had already seen but it's a great practice, even if the classes are somewhat tedious because our classmates are so incredibly sloooooow, even though they're in Anatomy II  (they are at another level, as the professor said )
The other is Animal Anatomy which I thought would be pretty cool and I'd learn a lot, but, we haven't actually learned anything, it's all making conceptual projects that have less to do with anatomy and more with... something. I've learned more by myself, and there are so many works to do that we have almost no time for anything... So, yeah, it was a mistake taking that course.
But anyway, this is my "final" year for my Painting major, I have the last courses for that major but I still need to take some other courses that I'm missing to graduate. And next year I'll get on with finishing Graphic Design and blablabla

This monday I return to college once more, so this is my last weekend of vacations. They were quite fun, actually, I discovered new places, left the country for the first time, did awesome things with friends and drew alot Some things I wanted to do couldn't be done, there were lots of stuff I wanted to try out with the way I color but had to be postponed for the time being (until I get a new PC).

The last couple of weeks I embarked on a nostalgia journey, watching movies from my childhood or adolescence that I hadn't watch for a long time... I watched the Back to the Future trilogy, the original Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly I even made a Doc Brown speed paint (I also have an idea for a LOTR one)

So, which movies do you remember fondly that you haven't seen for a long time and wish to watch again?
